Webmaster & Graphic Designer

We are looking for a webmaster & graphic designer. You’re as much a web developer as you are a graphic designer. As our Webmaster, you will be responsible for the development, design, implementation, management, support, and maintenance of the company’s main website and micro sites. As our Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating graphics for our marketing materials, including blog posts, email campaigns, handouts, etc.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Support digital campaigns and promotions through creation and revision of web based content.
  • Proactively investigate and resolve technical and operational website issues, through continual testing of accessibility, functionality, user experience, access and loading speeds.
  • Implement SEO strategies and provide ROI analysis using tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Ensure websites are developed in line with global/regional compliance issues (cookie policy/data collection/privacy policy/disability discrimination/disclaimer/terms & conditions).
  • Configure web servers, as required, and ensure all associated hosting servers are operating optimally.
  • Maintain a high standard of site security and login encryption, inline with regular backup and outage strategies.
  • Design graphics for blog posts, email campaigns, events, handouts, business cards, etc.
  • Create & revise the corporate templates.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • 2+ Years of web development and website management experience
  • Wordpress experience essential
  • Fluency with HTML, XHTML, HTML5, CSS, PHP, XML, JavaScript, image formats, CMS systems, Google Analytics, Cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, mySQL, CMS systems, WCAG 2.0 standards
  • Experience with and absolutely fluent with Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator and Photoshop)
  • Experience with both mobile responsive and desktop design
  • Strong organizational and communications skills, with the ability to lead web related projects through conception, planning, to development, testing and delivery
  • Web and Social Media savvy
  • Highly motivated team player who can work with minimal supervision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems (or other related scientific or technical discipline), and/or Graphic Design
  • Experience as a graphic designer or graphic artist
  • Very strong aesthetic sensibilities
  • A deep appreciation for usability and how designs affect usability
  • Takes pride in work
