#Empower is our biggest annual give-back initiative for nonprofits and charities and this year was our third time hosting this full-day virtual event on January 26th. As a brief history of #Empower, we came up with this virtual event idea three years ago, with the aim of helping people working in the charity sector. Since attending in-person conferences can be quite costly and not all organizations can afford to send many people, we thought of helping nonprofits and charities in our own, unique way.
Our first event was pre-COVID, so hosting this virtual event was a relatively new concept for us. ProServeIT has been in the IT business for two decades and we have helped numerous nonprofits and charities during that time. We had about 4000 people at our first and second events, and this year we had over 2600 registrants. This event is completely complimentary, and our way of empowering nonprofits and charities to further their mission.
We are a Microsoft partner, and we work closely together to help our customers. We co-hosted the first two events with Microsoft and this year we were joined by The Giving Block. In addition to our two co-hosts, we had 4 gold sponsors: tiptap, GrowthForce, Monday.com, and Unite Us and 6 silver sponsors.
Highlights of the event
The theme for #Empower this year was “Reimagine”, our initiative to appreciate and admire the work that nonprofits do for our communities. During the full day event, we featured a keynote by a rocket scientist and best-selling author and held 38+ sessions designed for 4 audiences: leadership, technology, fundraising, and marketing.
Over 2000 organizations of all sizes registered for #Empower2022 and over three quarters of them belonged to the nonprofit sector. More than 1200 people attended the live event. Anyone who registered is allowed to access the recordings and sponsors’ booths for one month after the conference. Numerous special offers were created specifically for the event.
Registration is still available until February 26, 2022. See what all the excitement was about by registering and accessing all the amazing content. Register here. If you already registered but forgot your password, click here.
