GroupQuest had legacy on-premise servers that were both out of support and slow. Rather than replacing them with another on-premise server, they decided to migrate to Microsoft Azure for a better accessibility and enhanced security. GroupQuest also worked with ProServeIT to migrate to Office 365. ProServeIT helped them create and integrate their Active Directory and Migrate their data to SharePoint.
Solution
• Accessibility: This migration allowed GroupQuest to move away from an on-premise environment and to start to take advantage of the availability and redundancy benefits of moving to Microsoft Azure. Successfully creating an Azure tenant, GroupQuest was able to have 24/7 access to their data.
• Enhanced Security: By migrating to the Cloud, they were able to ensure that they would never lose any of those files and knew exactly where to find them.
• Gained Support: To ensure they were set up for continued success, GroupQuest also decided to work with ProServeIT on an on-going basis as a managed services customer. ProServeIT supports GroupQuest’s end-users by answering help desk questions and solving any IT issues they face. By taking advantage of both of our Professional Services team on the migration and our Managed Services team with on-going support, GroupQuest has been experiencing the return on investment they were hoping for.
